Was there a trophy cabinet already in the clubhouse or did they have to rush out and get one made as if there was one it would have been full of cobwebs and cockroach poo haha.

Enjoy looking at the trophy. Whilst it has been gone from up here for about 10 or 11 years we don't mind lending it around a bit as it should be coming back sometime pretty soon.

Can you imagine their sausage sizzles? Nobody would ever leave the car park.

So here is the stripped down body. Note the large bridge routing. Thinking of reshaping into a double cutaway (LP junior Junior?).

Next step...sanding.... or as Shakespeare wrote "Once more unto the breach, dear friends".

Would you mirror the lower horn on the top? Make it symmetrical along the centreline of the body shape?

Its actually a neat little shape, I'm quite curious to see how it would look scaled up to full size (@wokka, no, this doesn't go on the eventual build list, there's too many there already!)

Not a bad idea Frankie. My daughter is not into hardcore yet so tossing up about smoothing it out rather than sharpening it up. Still plenty of time to decide.

I've sanded back a small area today and it's solid wood. Only light coloured, light weight, so I'm thinking it could only be pine which wouldn't surprise me. Will post pics when it's sanded back more.

good one IRL, keen to see pics of the raw timber, if it's light in weight and the timber is a light colour it could well be pine

Not addding anything until I've cleared the current backlog, starting with what's in my signature, less of course 16/00Never.Ever.
