    looks excellent Paul. How the hell do you get away with working on the dining table ? haha

    I usually give it a light rub with super fine steel wool between final coats, remember give it at least 3 days curing between coats.

    After the last final coat DB recommends you leave it to cure about 3 weeks (if you can wait) for the final coats to harden before 1200+ wet and dry and then cut/polish
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Thanks mate! Haha Wife and kids are away hence the time and working space of my choice haha.

    Thanks for the tips re the finishing.

    no worries Paul. Remember try for more light coats than less thicker coats. Don't over work the rag as you will pick up any areas you missed on the next coat. If you let it cure in a dust free environment you will have steel wooll-ing to do between coats.
