I could never figure out why my 'bookshelf' practice amp buzzed annoyingly at higher volumes. I took it apart, this was inside it. Removed. Problem solved!

Haha....yep, that would definitely do it, I thought I had seen it all but now that takes the cake so to speak, that Gel pack would definitely "dry" up the tone of the amp for sure.....sorry for my "dry" sense of humor.....I'll stop now before I go overboard.
