    Thanks Woks.

What buddy, it's mine all mine

Yeah Tonerider Hot Classics, I was really worried that I would lose the Tele sound in the same way as the Seymour Duncan's took away the Strat sound but the fear was put aside the moment I plugged it in, it's much more responsive to the tone and volume controls than any of my other guitars.

The action in not as low as I like but that's with the 9s on it I prefer 10s and the bit of extra tension allows me to run a bit lower without buzz.

I still need to source the Tuff Dog decals before I call it finished but in the meantime it's getting played

Well the Tuff Dog has made it onto a recording, a new Richards/King original called Road To Forbes.

I must say that the sound on the raw project made me very happy indeed, still need to do the play out solo and then mix & master so a bit of a way off yet

    Quick update and name change.

As noted in earlier posts I have recorded a couple of songs with the guitar, new links here ( album tracks )

After a violent incident on Monday where my daughters dog was mauled and looks like making a good recovery I have decided that the truly Tuff Dog is Moet.

She had wounds through the right side of her chest that exposed her heart and collapsed her right lung and her left lung was full of blood.

Today my daughter asked the vet if he had ever done similar surgery and he said no, with these injuries they are dead by the time they come in.

Wow! What a badass pup! Get better Moet, you tough little legend!

Being new to the site, I’ve only just seen your Diary on this build with this latest update. It was a good read-through! Guitar looks great, sounds great and now has a great name! Well done!

    Thanks SF.

Moet is doing very well, the fear was infection and we are now a week or so down track and none is evident and the vet is pleased with her progress
