    Nice progress Cade. Original headstock shape should look cool when assembled. Stick with the stain coats should become more bright red

    It's very hard to drift away from those traditional styles with something as iconic as the JB, but I think you've pulled it off with this. It's very different, very personal and kind of aggressive; the more I look at it the more I like it to be honest. Fantastic work there

    FrankenWashie I'm a big fan of heavy rock and Metal so an aggressive bass is an ideal outcome!

    Thanks Wazkelly. I've only put one coat of DT on both neck and body so far. After 4-5 days now the body is looking quite good and the colour has settled in nicely so I might start on the intensifier this weekend, but the neck will definitely need another stain coat to brighten up. It's looking a little washed out next to the body.
