Help needed identifying a double neck guitar

I went and saw Keith Urban in concert on Thursday night in Melbourne. As usual(I've seen him maybe 5 or 6 times!) He was brilliant!
While I haven't been the biggest fan of his most recent albums, he still knocks it our of the park when performing live.

In the past, Keith has stuck to 2 or 3 electric guitars, an LP, Tele and a Strat, however with his latest show, it was like watching a Best Of PBG Guitar show!
There was an EX, several LP's, one with a Trapeze bridge, and possibly a hollow body at one point, on top of his Ganjo, Maton acoustic, and the earlier mentioned Fenders!

One of his back up guitarists played several double neck guitars, one of which was an SG style.
The other one I am having trouble identifying. Unfortunately, since I was up in the Nose Bleed section, I only had the big screens to give me a closer look, however I couldn't make out the brand on the headstocks, nor could I get a photo of it.

    Some clues..
The head stocks were mirror images of each other, similar in cut to the one on my Carson re-build headstock, but the top one was standard, while the bottom one was reversed.

The lower guitar had a round/oval scratch plate similar to a MMB-4, while the top scratch plate flowed around it. They were separate, definitely not joined.

I'm pretty sure it was not a 6-string over Bass guitar, but I don't think it was a 12 string over 6 string like the SG was. If it was a 6-String over Baritone, I would think the necks would be different lengths, but there was not much in it from what I could see.

    Any suggestions??

A real dilemma with that guitar. You'd want to keep it because of the electric part, but burn it because of the banjo part. It could drive some people mad!

I believe Tony Hicks from The Hollies used such an instrument, too; certainly adds some bling to a tune!

    Haha, that's a bit extreme!!
I wonder how they do it? Is it the pickups, or some form of MIDI setup?

No, extreme would be fixing it with Hi-Ex.

If a banjo was good enough for The Whos "Squeeze box", the Hollies "Bus stop" and the Eagles "Journey of the sorceror", then it's good enough for me! I played 5 string banjo in a bluegrass outfit for a while, and found the finger rolls incredibly hard to do...

Listening to the likes of Bela Fleck, Earl Scruggs or Steve Mandrell is an education....
