Dr Who stuff is out as our keyboard player has the Dr Who fixation. I can't muscle in on his territory. A stormtrooper helmet could work, though I'm looking for something that will make best use of the upper rear horn.

X-wing and tie fighter have been considered. Maybe an x-wing on the upper rear wing heading towards a small death star on the lower front wing.
X Wing speeding away up the upper bout, with an exploding Death Star taking up the area under the PUPS and the lower horn?

Difficult to keep it simple, and lends itself more to white on a black background. I haven't done any real art for the last 30 years, so don't want to push too far on my first attempt. Want to keep it to a few colours, with a posterised look e.g.
But I will mull it over. It could be done in a more comic-book art way.
you could break the concept down further to simple silhouettes in black and white. easily understandable outlines like an Xwing or the Falcon. highlight body panels/cockpit windows as white areas?

I could indeed. I need to make up some paper templates and start sketching out ideas.
I had the idea for something similar with my SV-1. but it would be a white body with a black band around up the centre, which would run from Headstock face around the length of the guitar to the rear of the headstock . there would be two 10-15mm borders and the middle would be a running pattern of NZ koru and moko (tattoo) forms.
Though as you had commented in your earlier post, it has been some time since i have pressed my design/artistic skills that far, i am not sure it is achievable without some dedicated practice and re-learning.

Make the guitar look like R2D2 and build a amp that looks like the Deathstar.
The photo above is from a Ebay sale [must have been at least 10 years ago] of the Deathstar subwoofer a guy in the U.K made.
Some of the questions and reply's during the sale were hilarious, I remember his auction went viral
Would be relatively simple to morph it into a guitar amp.....bloody huge thing though.
