Very nice indeed. I've never been fan of the Trini Lopez modifications to the 335, but you've almost got me converted!

That's brilliant, play it loud young man and play it often! Great job by both of you!

Greetings from Finland, Northern Europe. Here is my BG-46 that just happens to be the first guitar/bass that I have ever built.
I used only the kit parts though I lifted the bass bridge to get the strings even further away from the fretboard because I just like playing with a bass like that.
I had some problems with the wirings at first but overall the guitar/bass was easy enough for anyone to make if you don't run out of patience. The guitar/bass plays well and I am really happy with the result.
The paint I used (Azure Lagoon) was from a company that pitbull recommended (Wudtone) since dingotone wasn't an option in Finland.
It might not be GOTM material but it's always worth to try

PS. I was unable to post pictures so I put a link below.

Hi, I have just completed my first kit. It is a TLA-1R and i tried to keep in nice simple being my first. tried to not bite of more than i could chew. Body is finished in a transparent white gloss, gloss headstock face with clear satin neck. All black hardware and pickups stock except for the Babicz Z series bridge and subsequent string thru ferrules. Have been bitten by the bug for sure im itching to get another one underway.
