    A rare bird....

Every so often I get a rare Guitar in for some TLC.
This is one such beastie, late 70's Rama SG style...
Rama only ever built around 90 instruments, the builder was a leading hand at Maton for many years.
Do a google search for more info on who had these amazingly well built Guitars.

    Hey DB,

What is the deal with the nut and the first fret(?) or zero(?) fret being so close together?

Interesting design DB. What's happened to the body in the first photo below the bridge? Has someone tried engraving the body?

@Rabz.... interesting isnt it? I have never seen it before either. I would imagine they were after a brighter tone with that setup.

@ Zandy.. Thats what happens when an ice head gets thier hands on beautiful things..
My buddy who now owns it has sent it to me to remove the graffiti and re spray that section, as well as a new control cover so he can put her in his shop to sell.
