    Chook

Finally got some pics of my assistant . I've named her Chook as she clucks around like one. She has chicks atm and gets quite insistent about being fed. She follows me around like a dog, even inside the house.
    Wotcha doin? Got any food?

I'm surprised at how friendly she is, normally Magpies don't come that close to humans, although they have been known to dive-bomb them.

We used to get a whole flock of different coloured Finches in my dad's backyard where he had his workshop in Kununurra, he used to put a big plate of birdseed out for them, we even used to get a few Tata Lizards that would go for a swim in the birds water trough and then sun themselves on some concrete slabs.
