Would have been really handy about 30 - 35 years ago when I was on the gaspers!

Last century the trick was to spike the durrie on the end of a longer string off-cut at the tuner or between the strings on the headstock on a strat. Mind you the nicotine staining on maple headstocks was an issue not to mention trying to puff and play in some sort of time with the rest of the band.

Used to work in the Commonwealth Bank whilst playing in bands during early 80's and one day absent mindedly rolled up a perfect 2 paper regular drum rollie and wondered why all the other staff were looking at me all kind of weirdly? Ooops, that blew my Clark Kent alter ego didn't it! Only a couple of short years later gave all the smokes away and never went back.

Congrats Waz, Dedman and anyone else who's kicked the habit. I quit 6 years ago and cigs were 1/2 the cost they are now!

I must say it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

That all being said, DB, THAT is a fantastic ciggy holder.

I'm one of the lucky ones who never had to go through the pain of quitting....

Haven't done a gig in many years, but my leads bag still smells of Stale Beer and Cigarettes from the Pubs I've played.....
