    April 2016 Guitar of the Month

    April 2016 GOTM

    Enter your finished guitar here to be judged for Pit Bull Guitars April 2016 Guitar of the Month.

    Please remember:

    One guitar per member per month
    It must be a Pit Bull Guitars kit (mods and upgrades acceptable)


    We need at least 4 photos:
    · full guitar shot from the front;
    · close up of the body finish;
    · shot of the back of the guitar; and
    · close up of the headstock (please, no brand name logos)



    Please post your photos in this thread. If you are having issues posting photos on the forum, please email them to adam (at) pitbullguitars (dot) com

    Please note: This competition is open to amateur guitar builders only. If you are making and selling guitars for profit, you are ineligible.

    Competition for March closes Monday 31 March 2016.

    Winner will be judged by the Pit Bull Guitars Judging Panel, including the winner of the March 2016 GOTM.

    Here's my finished ash MKA-2 cricket bat.

    The details:
    Entwistle P90s
    Timbermate grain fill
    Colortone burst - Vintage Amber, Red Mahogany, Tobacco Brown.
    Acrylic clear
    Colortone Vintage Amber neck with TO.
    Decal by AndyPort.
    Scratchplate by Pabs.
    All other hardware original.

    IMO those Entwistles really kick ass.

    Excellent job Gav and a good start to the Apr GOTM. Very well executed & finished build and like the upgrades. I'm starting to develop an appreciation for cricket bats!

    nice shiny cricket bat Gav, you are lucky DB isn't on the judging panel these days so you should score good points from all judges haha

ID:	9379.....my first build and had fun doing it and it sounds great . Took some time to get the neck to the right height but well worth it. No Acrylic used just good old elbow grease and Dingo natural with about 5 hours of sanding before the finishing coats ..... and lots of sweat then the Dingo guitar wax .
