I'd like to know what you think of the Chinsby as well, thinking about one on a future project

Classy looking build Dave! Looks great. Making my G.A.S dial turn up to "purchase".

Thanks for the kind words! The faux-Bigsby is OK as long as you are gentle, which works for me. The bigger issue may be the bridge. If I were more picky I could upgrade to a Bigsy with a roller bridge for not too much money.

Personally I have found the GFS roller bridge and xTrem a great combo for the price. I have two, one on a tele and one of a 335 and I couldn't be happier. Tuning stability is great and they are very easy to change strings. Anyway just a suggestion.

    cheers,
    Gav.

    Hey Friends,
Long time, no type. I just wanted to check back and give an update.
I ended up adding Gotoh tuners, a bone nut, roller string trees, a Bigsby and a roller bridge, and these changes made a big difference in Wonderboy's playability and ability to stay in tune, particularly while doing the lonely surfer whammy thing.
I hope you are all doing well, and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a great New Year. cheers, DaveClick image for larger version.

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.
