Cheers mate, I'm hoping it'll all come together too, I'm hoping I don't have any serious issues with the spray paint and clear coat, like incompatible products for example, I saw that a few other members had some issues with their finishes, what I'll do is make sure I triple-check the spray paint and clear coat first for compatibility, then I might do a test spray on some scrap wood.
DB has suggested that I try making a personalized Decal, which I think is a pretty cool idea, I already have a few ideas in my head for that, just wondering if my printer/scanner/copier will do decals, and if there'll be any issues with the ink, my printer/scanner/copier prints in colour so maybe a colourful decal might be interesting, I was thinking of going with DrNomis Guitars but I may need to tweak it a bit, I could have a pic of a mad scientist as a logo with Dr Nomis Guitars just underneath it.
If there are no issues with the spraypaint and clearcoat that I'm going to be using, this is hopefully the end result I'm after with the finish on the body of the Gold Strat:
Note that the Gold finish in these two pics is a bit more yellow than the Gold spray paint I want to use, although I might see if I can get the same yellow-gold colour you can see, in both cases imagine the guitar with gold hardware installed, should look cool.

Cheers mate, I might upgrade the tuners to a set of Gold 6-in-line Grover Lockers when I do the order, it'll cost me an extra $55.00 but I reckon my budget should be able to manage it, later on I might upgrade the stock Gold Strat Bridge to a Gold Babicz Bridge, been thinking about giving those Babicz bridges a try for a long time, they look pretty substantial.
Pity there isnt someone doing custom labels, you could get a few made up.
Hi Doc, all you need is waterslide decal paper, available from art supply shops or maybe Officeworks. I got some in the past from Ebay.
Just print your logo and spray with a clear rattle can to seal the ink.
A better option is to get Andyport of the forum to make a vinyl logo so you won't see any clear backing paper. I just received some new 4D logos from him and finally in the new shape

Cheers mate, I might have a yarn with him after I receive my kit in the mail, might even get him to design a logo for me since my artistic talents aren't as great as some of the other forum members.
But yeah, rather than going with a PBG sticker on the headstock it would be cool to have something unique.
Update:
I just made some quick revisions to my build plans at the start of this thread, check them out and let me know what you think.
