    Henrycat's ES3

    Hello all.

After spending a few days with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs the kit has arrived and we've had a look and a bit of a dry run. The wood is so beautiful that I'm going to just go with a natural finish, I'll report back when there's news. Or when something disastrous happens, whichever is sooner...

Beautiful kit Henry. I do love a nice ES-3 (175). You've got some awesome grain on the top there. She is going to be a beautiful axe when you are finished!

    That grain is drool worthy!
Going with Dingotone clear should still keep it a ripper of an axe, can't wait to see the finished product!

Cheers Keloooe. Can't get the Dingotone here in South Wales but luckily Wudtone are twenty miles away! I like the grain more every time I look at it.

Ah yes, got my locations a bit muddled up!
Go with the Wudtone, I have used it twice and the results are stunning!
