    Crusaders Black and White LP-1

    Greetings fellow forum lurkers,

I purchased an LP-1 kit and had Db remove the binding, I replaced the binding with a red one and put some binding in a channel down both the headstock and body.

I tried doing a special burst on the sides and back of the body but the black dye wouldn't take to parts of the timber and the back had a dark stain / grain that the colours wouldn't hide, so I sanded it back and went with my original plan Black back and side with the face of both the body and headstock half black and half white with the red binding separating them.

well the painting is not going to plan but here are some pics of what I have got done so far...

I have also painted the black on the body but just like the headstock I have destroyed it by not waiting 21 days before moving on..
    Regards,
    Neil

For that is going to look sick when its finished and together!

Does the black/white delineation continue down the neck or is it from head only with a stinger transition on the back of the neck?

    Hi FrankenWashie,
the black and white will only be on the face of the body and headstock.
