Hi Fretty, been a while since an update. Interesting wiring options I like it ! I'd get Pablo to cut a custom pickguard so your switches aren't coming out of the 5 way switch slot and you have plugged the usual volume pot hole.
With the veneer on HS I do it similar to Tony. I usually glue it on before I shape the HS. Cut the veneer oversized, glue it and clamp to the max with a flat piece of wood. You may need a round object to hold it down near the curve near the nut.
After glue has dried and remove clamps, sit veneer side on a flat surface and carefully cut most of the excess off with a sharp stanley knife. Then carefully sand or file edges that won't be shaped.
Then I cut the headstock shape then clean up as usual

I like the squared off headstock more than the snakehead round one another company comes out with.

    Looks good

The headstock looks great Fretty. The squared off look is great given the new tuner spacing. Winsh I wad done this on my tele build now. Will be great to see this one finished and hear a demo maybe?

    cheers,
    Gav.

It's all together now. Need to do all the set up things - nut, neck relief, intonation, all that stuff. But it is together and the electronics are all a-ok. Although I won't try and record it until its set up.

    The pickups are Tonerider Surfaris.

And it would have taken less time to string up if I wasn't using the cheapo strings, tied in a knot that the factory supplied. I had to guess which strings were which after I finally untangled them.
