nice looking kit Bman, I also got one of these in the stack from the last sale. That 5th blonde piece does look out of place. Maybe a dark edge burst could hide this, or reshaping and removing it could be cool too. Be keen to hear how the $20 Entwistle J bass pups sound. I'll be a while off starting mine. Might even get DB to rip the speed bumps out !
    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

I like the offset racing stripe idea. Very cool.

That is very cool Brendan. One of my fave guitars I ever owned was the "Competition" Fender Mustang. Love the look of a racing strip on the body.

I was literally just thinking of suggesting a racing stripe in page 1, looks like I have been beaten!
But a stripe or two would look nice!

It's a known fact that a racing strip makes a car go faster. The same applies to guitars.
