    Hi Stan the coffee looks great on the top looking forward to seeing each step as you move forward I fitted a Babicz bridge on the ib5 I built just love the way the height adjustment works .

    I had been reading of all sorts of things used to stain guitars, like Kool Aid.
    I like the colour of coffee, and it seemed just right for timber, so I thought I'd give it a try... seems to have worked ok

    @kimball, yeah cant wait to fit the hardware to this one

    @ bargy, it's still in the works mate. Couldn't help start the Epi fix when I got that, and my sister's axe is the priority now, but the other LP is still ok and I'm finalising the clear then it is read to go together. Bloody work and kids and family and household stuff just get in the way...

    In regards to tone, would there be a resonantion difference if you used decaf, with no caffiene to stimulate the wood particles. LOL

    What would the result of using instant de-caf?
