    Thanks Wokka, Gav and Tim!

Nige prices are under the Upgrades tab in services: neck setup is about $50 and $30 for a bone nut. Some people do their own, but a big time saver for me.
Oh and getting the same SD pickups we love!

Andrew, thanks mate, yep silver goes under the candy purple first. Really difficult to get the candy even over the top.

That's pretty damn good really, I was looking into getting the "Blacktop" professionally setup in Adelaide until it turned out it was gonna set me back around $350, when you're a broken-ass stay at home butler those sort of prices simply aren't viable.
So you're going the SH 4, JB combo on this one?

Yeah it's a pain hey. Very deceiving. I found overlapping 75% each pass and build up lightly turned out well for the Tele.

    long time, no update.

long story short, the body had some issues and I sourced a replacement from PBG.
The flame look so goo, I convinced my sister that the top colour should be transparent, as she still wanted purple.

So decided to pop the flame. Didn't want to use black - I feel it sometimes looks a bit dominant done this way.

    So a bit more sublte:

Moccona Coffee, mixed extra strong in hot water:

    Then wipe it on:

I actually really like the colour and want to just clear coat it like it is, will be a shame to sand this off... maybe for another project...

couple of glue spots to sort as well
