    Is the nut the wrong way around? Slots look wider on the bottom strings!

    Yeah mate. I messaged the fella gav told me about and he offered a wealth of tips! Can't use any fillers as suspected so I think it'll be bbq the wood, sanding sealer x100000, carefully sand back to not burn through the sealer and touch the wood, possibly a real light amberish stain, naughty oil, 0000 steel wool to matte it down a bit and profit. Hopefully. Realistically I'll probably set the body on fire and cry haha.

    On the plus side ash burns pretty hot so it'll make some good fire wood

    Guys what do you think is the best way to go for the head stock logo. I've got a stencil for the logo that I plan to shoot with white acrylic paint. Where in the scheme of things should I do this. Basically the finish will be clear sanding sealer and tru oil. Cheers.
