    New Guitar Goodies Day!!!

    Hi Everyone,

I just received some more stuff in the Post that I had ordered from Realtone Music a few days ago, inside the parcel are the following items:

X1 Set of Grover Deluxe 3-A-Side Tuning Machines.

X1 Set of Schaller Keystone 3-A-Side Tuning Machines.

X2 Brass Allparts Gibson Style Nuts.

X2 Pack of 4 Bushings For Bass Tuning Machines.

Looks like I'm going to be having some fun working on my Gibson USA LP Studio Guitar, it's getting a new Brass Nutt and a set of the Schaller Tuning Machines.

Will post a pic shortly, stay tuned.

Here's a pic of all the stuff in the parcel (apologies for the focusing):

good stuff Doc, always a good day when new hardware shows up in the post. Even better when it arrives before the weekend starts or you have to wait till next week

Have you got smaller diameter bass tuners and need bushings ?

Nah, the Bass Tuners I have for my Squier P-Bass are the larger diameter Old-School non-sealed types, but they still need bushings though, I'll post a pic of them so you can see what they look like mate, just need to go find my Digital Camera first.

I think those old-school Bass Tuners are called Elephant-Ear Style Tuners, anyway, you'll see what I mean shortly.

Okay, here's a pic of the Bass Tuners for my Squire P-Bass:

I just did a quick test-fit of one of the bushings on one of the tuners, fits perfectly so I'm happy, looks like I'll be able to resurrect my old Squire P-Bass after all, feeling pretty stoked about that.

    Hey Doc nice hardware stash!

For the Schaller Keystone 3-A-Side Tuning Machines are these the non-vintage ones with screw-in bushings (for 10mm hole)?

Yep, the Schallers are the non-vintage ones with screw-in 10.0 mm bushings, they will fit most Gibson guitars with 10 mm holes in the headstock.

Hahahaha....I've got both shaky hands and poor eyes, been trying to work out how to get better-focused pics with my Digital Camera but so far no luck, it does have a Macro function but that didn't work either.

I need to focus on more focusing so I can keep myself focused....hahahaha.
