Sure did and from memory it was chambered to reduce weight but was still rather heavy
The ones that the custom shop reissued weight 4kgs and are chambered. About the same as a Les Paul. A standard Tele weights about 3.5-3.6 kgs. George's one apparently wasn't chambered and weighed over 5kgs. Fender also made a Rosewood Strat for Hendrix, but it was never delivered to him and it's current whereabouts are unknown.
