I actually don't mind this, but some things would need to be changed. A new scratch guard, and perhaps cut off the lower horn altogether while mirroring the angle of the upper horn would be an even better improvement.

I've seen some quite well done travel guitars. They are always going to be a bit odd. This one just looks hacked with no respect for the shape to me.

Looks like they went out of their way to make a custom scratch plate too as I do not recall seeing any with that sort of bridge plate recess slope?
Maybe it was done as a lap steel project?
Either way it is poor taste to the extreme.
