When you've got 7 strings and 36 frets who cares what it looks like. Right?

Access right up to the top, but you would need some skinny fingers to play the right notes.

Along the same lines, only 30 frets though.

I saw one of these in Canada and had to count all my fingers to make sure no-one had slipped me some acid.

    A Ruling? 8O ... yep, ok, - Ruled: it's UGLY!

... and not just plain ugly, or even damn ugly - its BUTT-UGLY!

(not that its my intention to offend to anyone personally, but sometimes the truth does hurt! - this one's got win "Ugly Guitar Post of the Month"!)

An exercise in stupidity (36 frets? - "phhtt"!) ... I hope Gibson sued his arse if only for the crimes of seriously wasting decent timber, bastardising an otherwise beautiful guitar shape and the general blatant travesty against aesthetics and good taste!

Wait a minute ... that sounds like Rock and/or Roll!

SG-1 ... "Little Miss" finished in Flamenco Cherry Wudtone
TL-1A ... "Slugger" finished in Antique White Nitro
EX-1 ... "Metal God" finished in nickel-plate (work in progress)
ST-1A ... "Scrapper" stained and finished in linseed oil ... and with the "secret weapon"
GR-1SF ... "Rocker-billy" (just arrived, work in progress)

I vote to veto the inclusion of the 30-fret Ibanez, on the grounds of its electronic engineering alone. Despite appearances it has a five way pickup selector as there is a "phantom" neck pickup circuit to give a front pickup sound. It's quite a marvel and deceptively easy to play in the upper register.

    Seriously contemplated buying this guitar.
