I find it especially helpful to think about now I have kids - I can't count the times that that extra bit of effort getting prepped while I was tired and cranky has later paid off when I actually had some few spare hours, and managed to get a whole hell of a lot done!
This. My father taught me long, long ago that until you've tidied your gear away and sorted out your workspace, the days work is most definately not done! The fact that my family often rummage for a tool or some other "thing" in the workshop is neither here nor there; they know these days to leave it as they find it, else much yelling and foot stomping will occur....

Here is the FrankenLab, it’s in a bit of disarray on account of some reorganising and shifting of the wood piles into a cohesive wood pile and some rearranging to make better use of space and light.

It’s the undercroft to the house Wokka, it’s still a work in progress.

    Some nice setups guys

Only just finished moving into a new rental and still going through the process of getting setup. Working out of garage- major drawback is its carpeted so sanding etc outside (not advantageous for a Ranga) Major plus its airconditioned. Also place had an extra room so had somewhere to set up jam room.

Nice Tony, shame about the carpet.

A lot less tesla coils, chains and drifting dry ice fog than I was expecting, but still a great looking workspace. How is it for temperature?

It’s quite cool and stable, though humidity is an issue on stinking hot days. I need to get some more bench space sorted and reconfigure my wood storage and racking, it’s all a work in progress.
