    Hello from Sydney

G'day everybody I just recieved my LP kit and am very exited about the upcoming build.
Sure I'll have lots of question!!
First question (and appologies for not researching first) the neck i recieved is bowed. should i be worried abou this or is this standard to be adjusted during the build?
    Thanks in advance..

    Welcome Milty.

A back bow? Typically the kit necks ship with a slight back bow from the truss rod tension which will balance out straight(er) when eventually under string tension. No need to worry, unless it's a radical bow, as you'll probably be tweaking it during the build or at least during the final setup process. If you're still worried start a build diary and post some pics so we can have a look. Good luck.
    Scott.

I guess a back bow. The fretboard is higher in the middle (ie 12 fret) than the nut or other end.
Appreciate the advice, i wont panic yet lol

My first two PB kits came with a very tight truss rod which had to be backed right off and worked forward again the latest Tele seems to be pretty flat from the get go

The Liverpool Fairfield area was a musical hotbed in the 60s & 70s probably in no small part because of the migrant hostels at Cabramatta and East Hills in the area now known as Voyager Point.
( John Paul Young & Jon English being notables )

I've still got a guitar that I purchased at Don Nicholl's music store in Liverpool, it still a music store called Anthony's

I used to get my strings from Don Nichols' when I was learning via my teacher who's name escapes me, had not heard of Don Nichols since then, till now when it rang a bell from the distant past, around 50 years ago.....(Lived in Green Valley).
