I think the Gold Paint on the body still needs more time to dry, since I can still smell that chemical smell, I think it was Dingobass that said that if you can still smell that chemical smell, the paint still needs time to dry, so maybe in another week's time it may be ready for another coat of paint.

So, the body of the Gold Strat has been drying since the last coat of Gold paint was sprayed on it, and since I have successfully managed to fix my old Canon A480 digital camera, I'll see if I can post a couple more pics of it, hopefully they will be of better quality than the last two....stay tuned.

I'm actually really liking that shade of gold, it looks a bit greener than Aztec Gold (which is what Fender used on their Gold Strats), which is a bit more yellow in colour.

Yep, I agree, those pics don't really do it justice, cause under the white fluorescent light in my kitchen it is a lot shinier.

Cheers, I reckon two more coats of Gold paint and maybe two coats of clear coat should finish it off so I can then move onto re-assembling the guitar, and then do the final setting up and tune to pitch.
