    Slow progress. Drilled the neck this morning before the kids decoded to take over lol the

    Unfortunately the rest of the day will likely be spent repairing my air con, but I hope to get the bridge placement done tonight

    Bridge placement done. Pickup cavity needs adjusting which I expected.


    Next up is the string through holes and rear ferrules

    Pretty good out of the box actually. I don't anticipate needing to shim or alter the neck pocket depth.

    On to the string ferrules
    Drill the top first


    Add my table with 4mm pop rivet.. Line the drill up with the centre of the rivet. Body then goes face down and each string through hole drops over the rivet.



    Result is perfect ferrules

    Slow going this week. Managed to get the rough headstock shape done today and carved the rear headstock transitions a bit better.

    Hey, is that some kind of Dremel router/plunger in the background of your string thru photos? A diy solution?
