Looks good buddy. Colour match is very close in that last shot. Front came up better this time around too.

Thanks guys. The body is almost finished. I have wet sanded the whole body and buffed the top its come up really nice but i ran out of buffing compound so ill get some more tomorrow and post more pics once I've finished buffing it up.

Body polishing done its not 100% perfect finish wise but im happy enough with it now. The kit humbuckers look pretty ordinary they have a few dings in them that i hadn't noticed until I removed the protective film off them but i was planning on upgrading them anyway so no big deal.
At this point I've just fitted some parts to make sure all is still ok until I catch up with the neck.
I'm currently trying my hand with designing my own headstock logo not having much luck with it though but ill get there.
This build has been challenging and has fought me almost every step of the way I've made plenty of mistakes but I've also learned a lot from it.
Not far to go now before I can wrap this one up.
Also my apologies if this diary has become long winded and a bit hard to follow ill try and keep the next a bit more on point.
    Cheers

Sharing everything is what makes the forum interesting to visit. It's only as good as the content being posted. I wouldn't worry abbot the length of it, its just great to be abel to follow along through the ups and downs.

Its looking pretty nice now, the finish has come up really well. Shame about the dings, but you probably won't even notice with the string on.

Thanks Sonic. So the body is pretty much done now. Despite all the hiccups its looking better than i imagined it would im glad I chose to stick with the cream colored plastics it just looks like it was meant to be. I was also worried that going for a natural timber finish on the top would not suit with the body color but again it just looks right.
It's fair to say I'm pretty chuffed at the moment.

That last shot is stunning, love the colours coming through on that angle, just a honey blonde masterpiece. Great work Grubsta.
