    Very happy to see this, I've just got the RCM 12 unpacked and ready to go. I'm planning to use ebony timbermate too, just to get the most out of the grain, but nothing too extravagant, then using the dingotone Karinja red. I like your headstock design, don't know if it would work on the 12 string as it's quite a paddle, but you've inspired me to think about it. It's my first set neck too so I'm keen to get sanding and underway! cheers!

    Thanks guys, the thin coat of black stump is nice washed out grey loojs really good. The back and sides were to orange so i did a mix of 70/30 orange and black and its come up heaps better Click image for larger version.

    Ive reinforced the timber bits that ive made with some fibre glass tape hopfully it helps to hold them together

    I'd check the clearance with your low E tuner. It works, but I wonder if it should be a little narrower.
