I have inotated all my strings on my es-1. But the G string sounds like crap. I have adjusted the truss rod correctly and the action. On the tuner the g string is in tune open and on the 12th fret...

I used automotive paint and lacquer. I let the dry for almost two months before i continued with the build. I live in Canada on the West Coast near Vancouver.

I am building an ES-1G and want to know what kind of Bigsby i should install. A B7 or a B3

Was lucky and got the screw out using pliers and patience. I will now upgrade the machine heads for better quality ones. Thanks for all your help.

The screw holding the machine head on the E string has broken off. On top of that the machine head itself will not keep the string in tune. I need to remove it. Any ideas.

Just wondering if I can solder the ground wire from the bridge stud to any of the pots? Or does it have to be the bridge volume pot as per the wiring diagram.
