Agreed on the crank angle sensor. Love the datto and the clubman!

Wow, love the lp!
You know, ever since getting decent tube amps, I've never run more than an overdrive pedal, and I haven't even used one of those in years, ever since I had the distortion channel of my Seymour Duncan...
Cars here too, funny how common that combination seems! My two cars are a '79 Ford f250 (4 speed manual, mild 351 clevo) and a '68 MG Midget (heavily modified engine and suspension, Toyota 5 speed...
Awesome, signed up for the protools, thanks for the heads up.
I like the aluminium cavity cover! Looks good. What's the new bridge?
Headstock logo great, well done!
Fair call on the pickguards. It would be worth noting in the "kit includes" that the electronics are included as well.
Nice work!
Just noticed the changed descriptions as to what comes with the kit too, that's much better, looks great! Offers a lot more flexibility, I know this is a lot of work, but it's excellent to see as a...
Looks great now, with the separate menus, and the hardware pricing is closer to what I would have expected. You could probably make the pearloid pickguards a small additional cost ($5?) if that would...
I think he's suggesting increasing the price of the kit with chrome hardware (say by $10) such that there isn't such a big gap between the cost of chrome hardware and black/gold. Win win as you...
No worries, makes sense. Wouldn't stop me from buying by any means, you asked for thoughts on prices, and that was my thought when looking at it. If the chrome will still be included in all kits that...
A good tip when masking a design like that - lay your base colour (white) as you described, attach your masking (decal in your case) then spray another coat of the logo colour (white) before laying...
Haha, beat me to it.
That would be my preference too (actually regardless of whether it's right, particularly for tuners as it gives more flexibility), but I suspect there may be a concern that it might put off some less...
Out of interest, is there any possibility of nickel and black nickel options? Easy enough to buy separately if not, and maybe not a big enough seller to be worthwhile, just curious.
Thanks! I've been taking it in and out of my cart for days, but really don't need it right now!
Agree with the comments above, but looks good. A little surprised at black hardware being $20 (making black hardware effectively $50 compared to $30 for chrome) more than chrome as it's normally...
Sounds awesome (being able to choose between hardware). I think there would be a number of people who would be interested in tools and especially in hardware. If you could offer something similar to...
Ok, thanks. Don't worry, no way I would be leaving a strung and tensioned guitar out in the sun! But leaving a bare body and or neck in the sun shouldn't cause any dramas really should it?
...
Kits without hardware sounds great, I would be keen for that option too. Would that mean you might have options for no hardware or different hardware colours when purchasing, as opposed to the...
Thanks for your reply db! I thought you might be quite against this type of finish, but your knowledge and experience is much appreciated!
Interesting thoughts. Is the poly type finish...
So, does anyone have any advice/ideas on how to age a finish like this, to get the yellowing and wear? Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot too, or that I should just play it for 20 years, I don't mind!...
My Charvel 750xl. 1989, bought by me ~2000. Almost all the wear is from previous owners, as I really like this guitar and have taken a lot of care with it. While it was never a bright white, it has...
