Would look better as an explorer
yup, I do.
Except me. I have one and have played it fingers and pick. It will be on the intro to "Square One Blues" from our next release.
Is fun to play, but like fretting an extremely large gauge string.
That thought has crossed my mind, Waz. I have one of the Epi set neck models that I upgraded with a JB and a pearly gates pick up set. sounds pretty good....
Hmmm, I have one, and it doesn't neck dive.... I'd like to build a fiver bass with that shape, and use the explorer head stock.
The gumby headstock gives tuning issues when the rollers get sticky.
Founders Brewery is about 4 miles (6.44 km) from my house. The Breakfast stout is pretty tasty too!
I guess I have a couple of "subherds", as I have basses at three different locations.......
I've always been partial to the explorer shape...had a few 4 bangers, but now have to make em myself,
no one has these sexy fivers!
Drop Dead Sexy!
Looks good, Mr. Kelly
Beer City, USA. Your girl a student at U of M?
LOL I think we would get along famously, Davey! I have family in New Bedford....
Seems like sound advice, don't you think?
True that!!
Hey, Doc, Can the threads in the original bridge be repaired?
Might look into a hell-coil for the master tune knob...
I will have to get some from the phone, as all I have on the puter are a couple from the build.
Waz hit it on the beam! You can play up the neck so the frets are closer together for those of us
who are "digitally challenged".
You youngsters have getting shorter as you get older to look...
Great bass, my friend! Enjoy it, I'm enjoying mine!
Make that P ash with a maple board.......
Yeah, but I help skew the average toward the higher end of the scale......
I'd like a 5 string p-bass with a maple board......
Ok, thanks Darren!
Now lets all have a cold beer!!
Not too much in the way of snow so far this year. It has been getting colder though..
You lot should come for a visit.....Beer City, U.S.A. is ready to tempt your palates.
