Mate that thing is gorgeous. I too picked the humbucker sized P90's. they sound great too.
Had to rewire mine I think 3 times and I destroyed a pot in doing so....you are not alone.

Thanks simon but it was all working fine before i put it through the f holes im syarting think of why they made them f holes
Wireing issues all soeted it was some soder had run down the cloth and was touching the braided wire shorting the pickup out Attachment 26104

I've was having some trouble intonating so i swaped out the nut for a graphtec and layed it back a bit and put some phosphor bronze 11s on and its all good.
I've got to say the rebel p90s sound sweet i dont think you could go too wrong putting them in any guitar,
I'm a converted fan now
Attachment 28995 i haven't played this one much latley and was having a good look at it and the neck has bowed a fair bit in 6 months strings are now a good 6mm above the neck, just shows how much tension is on the neck

It why you need to have a bit of adjustment left in the truss rod when you’ve finished setting the guitar up. You are going to have to adjust the set up a few months down the track.
